mission/vision
Making professional therapy accessible, affordable, and convenient by clinicians who look like you and understand!
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington DC and a Licensed Certified Social Worker Clinical in Maryland. My practice is rooted in the belief that therapy should feel accessible, affirming, and grounded in cultural awareness. I work to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Howard University and have served in both public and private settings, including the DC Child and Family Services Agency and several outpatient mental health clinics across Maryland. I support youth and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, identity-related stress, ADHD, and life transitions.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, always tailored to each client’s unique goals. I have a special passion for working with LGBTQ+ individuals, children and teens exploring identity, and adults who are carrying the emotional weight of burnout, grief, or unresolved wounds.
As a Black male therapist, I understand the importance of representation in mental health care. My style is collaborative, direct, and grounded in compassion. Together we will work toward healing, growth, and a renewed sense of clarity and control over your life.
