mission/vision

Creating space for healing that is accessible, affirming, and rooted in understanding.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC and a Licensed Certified Social Worker Clinical in Maryland. I am also currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work, where my work is focused on clinician burnout and improving sustainability in mental health care systems. My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should be accessible, affirming, and responsive to the realities people navigate every day. I approach this work with an understanding that our experiences are shaped by our environments, identities, relationships, and the systems we move through.

I create a space where you can show up as you are without pressure to perform or fit into a mold. Therapy is not about fixing you, but about understanding your experiences, reconnecting with your strengths, and exploring what healing and growth can look like in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable for you.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Howard University and have worked across both public and private settings, including the DC Child and Family Services Agency and outpatient mental health clinics throughout Maryland. My work is primarily focused on adults and couples navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, identity-related stress, ADHD, and life transitions.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, while remaining flexible and responsive to your unique needs and goals. I also have a strong commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and those navigating identity, relationships, and emotional overwhelm.

As a Black male therapist, I recognize the importance of representation in mental health care and the impact it can have on feeling understood and safe. My style is collaborative, direct, and grounded in compassion. Together, we will create space for clarity, healing, and a deeper sense of alignment in your life.
